What is Free Mvmt Shop?

Free Mvmt Shop is a fitness and dance studio located in North Center, Chicago. We offer strength, sculpt, cardio kickboxing, dance cardio, yoga, and beginner-intermediate choreography classes.

What are the vibes?

Free Mvmt Shop is all about community! We love to sweat and smile, all while finding new and creative ways to move and groove. We’d love to have you be a part of it!

What do I need to bring?

Check your confirmation email for info regarding what footwear you’ll need for your sesh with us and bring your water bottle! We have all props required for class in-studio — weights, mats, sweat towels & more!

Can I wear outside shoes in the studio?

Outside shoes are murder on the dance floor! Please only wear clean, dry shoes inside the studio.

How do I sign up for class?

Visit our schedule tab to view and sign up for class! If you’ve never booked with us before, you’ll need to make an account to complete your booking. If you’ve booked with us in the past, log in and get into it!

What’s included in my first week free?

Your first week free includes unlimited classes! Try each format, see what works for your schedule, and dive right in! You do NOT have to sign up for a membership to receive a first week free.

How do I start a membership? Can I cancel?

You can start a membership at any time! Either select it as your desired pricing option in your account during sign up, or catch us in studio and we’ll get you all set up. Need to cancel? We get it! Life happens, you can cancel at any time.

How early should I get to the studio?

We design your sweat start to finish! Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in, doors will be locked when class begins. You have until 5 hours before your booking to cancel, after that time you will be charged a $5 fee.

What if I’m running late?

If you are running late and there is a studio assistant running the front desk, you may be able to enter class after the designated start time. For early morning classes, the door will be locked when class begins, and you will NOT be able to enter after the designated start time.

What is the parking situation at the studio?

There’s metered parking on Lincoln, and free unmetered parking on neighboring streets such as Byron and Berenice.
