Together we'll move mountains.
+ WE COLLECT GENTLY USED OR NEW ACTIVEWEAR AND FITNESS APPAREL IN EXCHANGE FOR CREDIT TOWARDS CLASSES, PRIVATE SESSIONS AND EXCLUSIVE EVENTS.
Your clothing donations go to support Girls in the Game’s Teen Squad teens. Teen Squad participants become leaders in their community while earning scholarship money for college. Throughout the school year, they learn the Girls in the Game curriculum in order to run workshops for younger girls while participating in their own health, sports and leadership development initiatives. We are accepting child and adult sizes.
+ WE SUPPORT A LOCAL NONPROFIT OF THE MONTH.
Support is both financial and physical in that we offer the organization free classes and a private movement event during their month. We look to celebrate the organizations working to make our world a better, more interesting, safe, and artistic place. We recognize this also brings people together who would likely not ordinarily run in the same circles and supports our commitment to diversity through movement.
*October we are honoring our friends at Hope For The Day. We are offering one free class and/or 15% off a one month membership to anyone who donates to Hope For The Day or purchases coffee at Sip Of Hope Coffee Bar. Proof of donation required.
We are currently taking submissions for future nonprofits of the month. Contact us to learn more about this program and how to submit your organization for consideration.
+ WE HOST LOCAL ARTISTS AND THEIR MAKINGS.
Our Residing Artist Program, PROJECT AIR provides space, time and resources to the local arts community. Upon selection an intro is offered to determine common goals and strategize how Free Mvmt Shop can beST help the artist IN THEIR FIELD. Residencies Are not structured out of a need for a final or finished product, but the path along the way that is the process. Examples have included visual art exhibited in the space and use of the space for rehearsal, class and creating.
